RJ: Young people are kidnapped, killed in Campos dos Goytacazes and thrown into the river

The kidnapping took place outside a shopping center in the city; the bodies were found on Sunday the 9th

Three young people were kidnapped in Campos dos Goytacazes, in Rio de Janeiro, last Saturday, 8. Two of them, aged 14 and 15, were killed. The third, 18, was shot, but managed to escape and is hospitalized.

According to the Military Police Good morning RJ, from TV Globo, the young people were kidnapped outside a shopping center, loaded into a car and taken to the community of Ilha do Cunha. The crime apparently occurred after a fight in a shopping centre.

Also according to the Prime Minister, two teenagers were executed and the bodies were thrown into the Paraíba do Sul river. Earththe company reported that the military police officers of the 8th BPM (Campos dos Goytacazes) were called to respond to the discovery of a body, in the Parque Leopoldina neighborhood, on Sunday 9th. The firefighters assisted the department soldiers while they remove the bodies into the river.

The third victim escaped by swimming in the river. Family members told the broadcaster that he was shot twice, once in each leg, and that he will undergo surgery. The young man is hospitalized at the Ferreira Machado hospital, in Campos dos Goytacazes.

The forensic team was called and the 134th Police Department is investigating the crime.
