Great series. Very well put together, very well played! No breaks. The script is brilliant even if it’s not always compelling. In any case, it is very positive.

According to Pierre-Henri Louis (4.5/5)

Great series, very good actors, very nice photo and very nice message, very nice ending too with its big strings

According to Emma (5/5)

The series clearly shows that sexual predators can be found anywhere, be it at work, school or family. The series portrays this disturbing reality realistically, encouraging the vigilance and solidarity necessary to protect victims and prevent violence..”

why does it work

With its strong theme, 13 Reasons Why, Ni una más is a real support for subscribers. Indeed, the Spanish series directly addresses the issue of sexist and sexual violence and violence against women. The quality of his storytelling and the intensity of the plot undoubtedly contribute to this audience support. An essential series at a time when the #MeToo and #BalanceTonPorc movements are still gaining momentum.

Number 2: Sweet tooth

Gus and his friends embark on a harrowing expedition in hopes of finding a cure…and finally discover the truth about the hybrids.

Viewer rating: 3.9/5

Kirill D. (5/5):

It’s a great series, the story is rhythmic and the settings are very beautiful and the actors are great. The story is interesting and full of adventure, never boring and I think that the main character, little one, is doing amazingly well. This series is very enjoyable to watch and I recommend it.

According to Brian W. (4.5/5):

It’s a fantastic and very lovable show with terribly charming and attractive characters, and despite its predictability, it is no less addictive, entertaining and always very beautiful, the special effects may not always be visually perfect, but the series still has an incredible charm.

According to Pierre Crescenzo (4.5/5):

An excellent series with an original story. Both a children’s tale and a post-apocalyptic series in a world that is both tender and violent and quite complex. The actors and actresses are very good. The story is original and the scenario is difficult to predict. Suspension is good.

why does it work

Sweet Tooth is a hit, but also because Sweet Tooth just said goodbye. Netflix has indeed released season 3 of the sci-fi series, and there will be no sequel. Subscribers flocked to new episodes to discover the end of the adventures of Sweet Mouth and his hybrid friends.

Number 3: Geek Girl

As an awkward teenager, Harriet always wanted to fit in. But a London modeling agency notices her and understands that sometimes we need to stand out from the crowd.

Viewer rating: 3.4/5

According to Mail Duble7 (5/5):

“A simple series, but one that feels good. Some of the themes leave you thinking! Refreshing characters that are easy to identify with. Nice mix of humor and sensitivity. Ready for season 2 (if there is one)!!!”

According to Amandine Aka (4.5/5):

“I loved this series! The story, the characters, everything is so good. I can’t wait for the sequel

According to Alonewg 29 (3.5/5):

“An easy watchable series…for young and family audiences. Recommended.”

why does it work

Geek Girl is a little candy we watch to have a good time and forget about our little daily worries. This British series features a character who exhibits traits close to Asperger’s syndrome (like its author, Holly Smillie) and who tries to navigate the world of fashion. but in its own way.

Number 4: Eric

New York, 1980s After his nine-year-old son Edgar disappears on his way to school, Vincent begins a desperate search. Considered one of the best puppeteers in the Big Apple, the creator of a hugely popular children’s show, Vincent struggles to cope with his son’s absence, but is overcome with grief and gradually loses his leg.

Self-loathing and wracked with guilt, she clings to Eric, a puppet painted by Edgar, confident that she can bring this blue monster character to the screen when her son returns. As Vincent’s increasingly destructive behavior alienates him from his family, colleagues, and the investigators who try to help him, Eric, an illusion born of necessity, becomes his only ally in finding his son.

Viewer rating: 3.6/5

According to Luuuuuuuc (5/5):

“Highly intelligent and sophisticated, expertly directed (Benedict Cumberbatch is outstanding, we knew that, but the other actors are also excellent), this mini-series, which plunges us into agony and madness, is also wonderfully impressive, without a rare touch of darkness. And the uncomfortable humor, we have to admit, That is welcome.”

According to JusteMoi (4/5):

“There is good in this series, even very good and not so good. Benedict Cumberbatch is very good, he excels in his role. The other actors are also very good, although I found the child a little too ruthless.”

According to Dragoio (3.5/5):

“This series is very good to watch, but it is quite disturbing because what we are watching ends up being quite far from what we think we are watching after reading the play and starting the first episode. Everything is good, but the overall tension is a sawtooth that sometimes creates a few lengths .”

why does it work

Eric is a quality mini-series supported by an impeccable cast – Benedict Cumberbatch in the lead role. More than a series about the disappearance of a child in 1980s New York, it points to the excesses of a society corrupted by violence, poverty and rejection of others. An unexpected and exciting series that lasts only 6 short episodes.

Number 5: One Punch Man

To pass the time, Saitama became a hero. Three years of special training gave him a power that made him invincible. But Saitama has become so powerful that one punch is enough to defeat any opponent, no matter how strong. Even today, a new enemy faces this tired hero who has lost his motivation… and his hair! Can you find the potatoes?

Viewer rating: 4.3/5

According to Zafkiel (4.5/5):

“Very funny, nice, very funny, nice, the characters are attractive, the hero goes against the grain of all the usual shonen stereotypes, ie from nothing to the top, this is the guy who resets all the counters on earth or in the universe.

So good on every level, but so good, I can’t wait for season 3! They’re cute, the hero goes against all the usual shonen stereotypes of starting from nothing and rising to the top, here he’s the guy who resets all the counters on earth or in the universe. It’s a big flaw on every level, but it’s so good, I can’t wait for season 3!”

According to Titanneeb (3.5/5):

“The plot of One Punch Man is not really incredible: Saitama kills everyone with one punch. Meanwhile, it’s a pleasant surprise. Saitama VF is great, they really chose one voice actor, I really like the atmosphere of this anime. Between the colors and even the humor (jokes 3/4 successful) It’s a good anime and I can’t wait to see the rest.”

According to Clément B (3.5/5):

“An exciting anime that shows a strong and very funny character, we quickly become attached to the various characters, but season 2 loses a lot of rhythm because the plot takes too long to build up.”

why does it work

A superhero so strong that one hit is enough to get rid of his enemies. From this point on, the suspense of One Punch Man revolves not around the resolution of battles, but rather the schemes that prevent its hero Saitama from solving all his conflicts with lightning speed.

Action sequences with very pronounced comic accents, the French version sees Orelsan slip into Saitama’s skin: a role fit for the Norman rapper! Moreover, the latter signed the opening credits of the second season in collaboration with the Japanese band JAM Project!
