A new Spotify plan aimed at regular users of the platform will launch later this year and will be more expensive than current subscriptions. The information comes from Bloomberg.
The audio streaming giant plans to launch the plan as an add-on for users who are already subscribed to the service. It is expected to cost US$5 (about R$26) more per month in the United States, giving access to better audio and new tools for creating playlists and managing music libraries.

Spotify declined to officially comment on the new plan. The news of this new subscription comes a week after the company increased the prices of its premium plans in the United States.
The new Spotify plan offers better audio quality
Spotify’s premium subscribers increased 14% in the first quarter ended March 31 compared to the same period last year. The forecast is 631 million monthly active users for the second quarter.
