On Wednesday 12th, the Federal Police (PF) launched the Fundo no Poço operation, with the aim of investigating alleged diversion of public resources from electoral and party funds during the 2022 elections. Among the people investigated in the action are c ‘is the president of Solidariedade, Eurípedes Júnior, the subject of an arrest warrant, but has not yet been located by the authorities.

Eurípedes Júnior, former president of PROS and current president of Solidariedade, is the main target of the operation. At the time of the confirmed facts he was leading PROS, a party that merged with Solidariedade due to his electoral performance.
According to information from the PF, Eurípedes was aware of the arrest warrant, but is in an unknown location and is therefore considered a fugitive. The charges against him are criminal organization, money laundering, qualified theft, embezzlement, ideological falsehood and misappropriation of resources intended for electoral financing.
In addition to Eurípedes, the list of arrest warrants includes other former leaders and former candidates of the party in the 2022 elections, including Cintia Lourenço da Silva, first treasurer, and Alessandro, known as Sandro of the PROS, deputy federal candidate.
The PF is executing 7 preventive arrest warrants and 45 search and seizure warrants in two states (Goiás and São Paulo) and in the Federal District. Furthermore, R$36 million was blocked and 33 properties were judicially seized, measures granted by the Electoral Court of the Federal District.
