Marina Zudina and Pavel Tabakov will play mother and son in the new series: first shots

Filming of the science fiction series “Superposition” with Pavel Tabakov as a talented programmer traveling through parallel worlds continues in Moscow. Today it became known that Marina Zudina and Konstantin Lavronenko have joined the project team. They will play the main character’s parents.

I can’t imagine who better than Konstantin Lavronenko would have coped with the task of playing 10-15 images in one film, says director Vadim Valiullin.

And this is not an exaggeration – the character of Lavronenko Doc will be found in almost all parallel worlds, and in each it will be a radically new person. Somewhere a naive professor, in another – a gangster from the 90s, in the third – a picture villain.

About the choice for the role of Marina Zudina, the director says:

First of all, she is a brilliant actress. But the fact that she is Pavel Tabakov’s mother in real life adds genuine chemistry to the relationship of their characters in the movie.

Recall that Tabakov and Zudina are not the first to star in the roles of son and mother. However, this time, as the filmmakers promise, the relationship between their characters will be touching and multifaceted. Zudina emphasizes that her role, although small, is “very unusual and not everyday.”

There are many different topics here. And, of course, there is the imprint of our personal relationships. When close people play such a story, they always tell much more about themselves and can tell each other. And for me, when choosing this role, an important role was played by the fact that I can record some words of tenderness addressed to my son. This is an opportunity to once again say to your son: “I love you.” I twist “mother” to a minimum and “actress” to a maximum.

Pavel Tabakov, in turn, admits that, on the contrary, he is trying to “remove kinship.”

The release is scheduled for the end of August 2022.
