Galaxy Z Fold 6 shows more details in leaked prototype photos

In the photos republished by the leaker Ice Universe, a prototype of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 shows the squarer look of the new generation, similar to the Galaxy S24 Ultra

Present in a growing number of leaks, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 has now acquired a series of images of an alleged prototype, which shows the visual modifications prepared by SAMSUNG for this generation. The material strengthens what has already been pointed out by rumors in the pastillustrating a wider and squarer device than Galaxy Z Fold5with an appearance closer to that of Galaxy S24Ultra.

The images appear to belong to a video posted on Korean social networks, to which the leaker responded Ice universe, which has an accurate history of Samsung-related leaks. It is already possible to notice the change in the structure of the phone, which is much straighter, wider and more squared, recalling the visual language that the brand adopts in the Galaxy S Ultra series.

You can also see that the design of the back cover has been retained, including the pill-shaped camera module, as well as the positioning of the buttons, fingerprint reader and speakers, organized to offer stereo sound. The evolution of the device is clearer in one of the photos where the prototype is located placed next to the Galaxy Z Fold 5 — the new feature is broader and should offer a superior typing and browsing experience.

Beyond that, the edges around the external display appear smaller, which provides a more premium feel to the device, and the aluminum frame and hinge appear to take up less space, keeping the phone “more compact.” These structures seem a little misaligned, but you have to remember that this is only a prototype, generally used by accessory manufacturers.

Although Ice universe did not bring new information about the technical data sheet of the leaflet, the device no longer holds surprises, having been the protagonist another big leak with the full spec list. All indications are that most of the features of the previous generation will be retained, with dimensions and workmanship, as well as the design itself, the only aspects that have been changed.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 would then arrive with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor for Galaxy12 GB of RAM LPDDR5X, up to 1TB of storage, triple rear camera with 50MP main sensor and 4,400mAh battery with unknown charging speed, although the 25W limit will likely return compared to last year’s model.

The bad news, according to rumors, is that this time we would have an increase in the price, which is already very high could now start at US$1,899 (~R$10,230).
