Massacre in Cidreira: five members of the faction reported


Five people were killed and three others were injured. After the massacre, the house where the victims were staying was set on fire in an attempt to hide the traces of the crime.

A grievance From MPRS was presented on Monday 17 June and accepted by the Court, transforming those investigated into defendants. The defendants, already in custody, are responsible for nine crimes:

  • Armed criminal conspiracy;
  • Five qualified homicides (bad motive, resource that made it difficult to defend the victims and crime committed to secure the advantage of another crime);
  • Theft of the victims’ cell phone and vehicle;
  • Arsonist of the house with dead and injured inside;
  • Destruction of corpses during a fire;
  • Three attempted murders.

A sixth suspect was also arrested, reported only for criminal association.
