in the new Avatar: The way of water matter of EmpireWe spoke to Tarantino and fellow bar employee Roger Avary about their new joint venture, The podcast of the video archive, delving into their history, the inspiration they have drawn from VHS tapes over the years and how they approach introducing their children to the world of cinema. “[My son is] quite young, so he only saw one movie, ”explains Tarantino. “I thought I was hitting a Minions cartoon, and I realize it is my favorite villain part 2. And he seemed interested in the opening credits, so I said, ‘Okay, I guess we’re watching my favorite villain part 2. She gets up and goes behind the sofa, but continues to watch television. We watched him for 20 minutes, until it was time for him to go to the park, then the next day we watched him for another 15 minutes. And so, over the course of a week, in small bites, the first movie Leo saw was my favorite villain part 2. ” Could Leo be a #GentleMinion in the making?
It seems Leo is already developing a love for a wide range of on-screen delights, including a certain preschooler pink pig; as Tarantino recalls, he found My Favorite Villain 2 “A more compelling experience than, let’s say, Peppa Pig. ” Yes, you read that right: Quentin Tarantino, Oscar-nominated and decisive director, look Peppa Pig. “In fact, I like it Peppa Pig; I watch it a lot.
