Santos draws with Mirassol and remains out of G4

Santos once again played football below expectations and drew goalless against Mirassol away from home

This Tuesday (25th), the Santos were held to a goalless draw against Mirassolat the Municipal de Mirassol, for the 12th round of the B series. With the draw away from home, Peixe remains out of the G4 and worries his fans. The team is in fifth place, with 19 points. Leão is in ninth place, with 18 points.

In the next round, Santos receives a visit from Chapecoense. Meanwhile Mirassol visits Novorizontino.

Mirassol took control of the first 45 minutes. With an aggressive attitude, the internal team pushed Santos into the defense field and frequented Peixe’s penalty area. Unlike the best moments of the year, Santos’ marking system did not work and gave up space to the opponent.
