Older brother finally kicked off season 24 with a transfer live on special and fans and Paramount + subscribers saw the new season of Houseguests for the first time. they also learned All you need to know about BB Fest and the power of boss behind the scenes. We also saw the first breadwinner of the season take over and take on the enormous responsibility of choosing the first person who could leave the house.
Unfortunately, the new twist is a little nerve-wracking, and it might take some conversation to figure it out. We break down all the details of the episode below and try to understand the weirdness behind the Backstage Boss and the Go to the locker room.
Daniel Durston won week 1 HOH
elvis impersonator Daniel Durston is the first HOH of Older brother Season 24 and defeated Matt Turner Yes monte sarto for the rights to this beautiful piece . Usually all eyes are on the first HOH and what they can do to get their hands dirty, but luckily for Daniel, she may have an easier path than the others. Thanks to Backstage Boss, the person returning home may not be someone you call at all.
Pooch is the boss behind the scenes
Joe Pucciarelli This is “Dog“Casually attracted the honor of Backstage Boss, who came with a great deal of power in the early stages of Older brother. Pooch cannot participate in challenges during the first week of season 24, but neither can he be nominated, vote for dismissal, or be sent off. He is also eligible to compete for the breadwinner the following week, so initially it looked like he had gotten a good deal.
Backstage pass recipients
The kicker was that Pooch had to name three Houseguests to get a Backstage Pass, which was more punishment than reward. These guests also can’t enter contests, vote, or be nominated in week 1, but unlike Joe, they can be kicked out that week. Joe chose alyssa snider, eagle doveYes Breton circles to join him backstage. I am at a huge disadvantage this week, although there is an element of confusion to that Older brother has not yet explained.
How does a person go home without being named?
Alyssa, Paloma and Brittany are in danger of being eliminated, but it’s a little confused how that can happen. Older brother he said they could not be named, meaning the householder cannot put them on the block initially or as a replacement after the veto. And even, Julie Chen Moonves made it clear that one of them could go home and fans could vote to save any of the three Backstage Pass members from possible elimination at this point.
I imagine the house will have a chance to vote for one of the two Backstage Pass recipients in addition to the two candidates on eviction night and whoever gets the most votes will go home. I’m sure there are other possibilities, so maybe it’s best to wait and see if the plot twist is explained more in future episodes or more than Julie’s bewildering Instagram photos .
