The 21-year-old player comes from Cerro Porteño, Paraguay.
Cruzeiro announced that they have reached a definitive agreement for the purchase of 21-year-old midfielder Fabrizio Peralta from Paraguayan side Cerro Porteño. The player will arrive in Raposa after finishing his participation with the Paraguayan team, which is playing in the Copa América in the United States.
The midfielder will sign a five-year contract with Cruzeiro. For the Paraguayan player, the Celeste club paid 16 million reais for 60% of the economic rights. Raposa will be able to purchase another 20% of the athlete’s rights for 1.5 million dollars (approximately R$ 8 million).
Peralta is in the Copa America with Paraguay and is expected to be released soon to compete in the Olympics with the team in July and August. Peralta was revealed by Cerro, but in the U-20s he had experience at Flamengo. At Cerro he played 36 games, with three goals and three assists for the first team.
