Instagram Tests AI Chatbots With Influencer Personalities


Instagram launches ‘AI Studio’ that lets creators develop AI-powered chatbots to interact with followers in personalized ways

Content creators for Instagram in the United States they have started testing a new tool called “AI Studio”, which allows you to create chatbots based on your personality. The news was announced by Mark Zuckerbergthis Thursday (27), on his broadcast channel on the social network.



According to the CEO of Objective, people “will start seeing AIs from their favorite creators and AIs based on their interests in the coming weeks on Instagram.” The executive informed that these experiments will appear in the message section and will be clearly labeled as AI products.

Introducing the new feature, Zuckerberg shared examples of how audiences will be able to interact with content creators’ personalized chatbots. On the TV channel, he posted demonstrations of conversations with influencer profiles Don Allen Stevenson III and Wasted.

“We are working closely with creators to develop these tools so that they are helpful in answering questions they receive from their followers and can speak to people in a helpful and entertaining way,” the CEO wrote.

Initially, only a small group of influencers will have access to “AI Studio” to customize their chatbots. “This is the first Beta version of these AIs, so we will continue to work to improve them and make them available to more people soon,” Zuckerberg said.

The CEO explained that the initiative aims not only to increase engagement between creators and followers, but also to diversify the forms of online interaction. The Meta owner highlighted the potential of AI chatbots in enabling small businesses and independent creators to create virtual representations to connect more dynamically with their communities.
