Elyas – Released on July 3rd
Between Man on Fire, Jason Bourne, John Wick and The Equalizer, Elias promises to be a blistering action flick with Rushdie Zemm as sharp as ever. The latter plays Elias Flores, a former special forces soldier, lonely and paranoid.
He becomes a bodyguard for 13-year-old Noor and his mother Amina, who are from the Middle East. While the ex-warrior and the young girl get to know each other, a mysterious commando targets them. Elias will stop at nothing to save her.
The film is directed by action specialist Florent Emilio-Siri, who notably directed Wasp’s Nest, Hostage and The Intimate Enemy. He then filmed episodes of the TV series Marseille with Gerard Depardieu and Benoit Magimel. He hasn’t returned to cinema since 2015’s Full Board. In Elyas, Roschdy Zem will be surrounded by Laëtitia Eïdo, Jeanne Michel, Sherwan Haji, Nabil Elouahabi and Dimitri Storoge.

Deadpool & Wolverine – Released July 24th

Superhero, sci-fi, comedy, buddy movie, action… Deadpool & Wolverine ticks all the boxes.
Six years after Deadpool 2 and acquired by Disney, the irreverent antihero Deadpool, still played by Ryan Reynolds, is back, and this time he’s accompanied by his sidekick Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman.
Directed by Sean Levy, the Marvel film will see two legendary heroes make a sensational entrance into the MCU. Many superheroes and mutants who have already appeared in previous films are expected to make cameos, such as Jennifer Garner as Elektra. But different versions of the heroes should also appear as Dogpool or Lady Deadpool, whose identity is still under wraps.
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman will team up as Cassandra Nova, the twin sister of Professor Xavier, played onscreen by Emma Corinne (The Crown) in the feature film, which hits theaters July 24. The two friends will also be surrounded by Morena Baccarin (Vanessa), Karan Son (Dopinder), Rob Delaney (Peter) and Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic).

Largo Winch: The Price of Money – released on July 31

13 years after the second opus, the Largo Vinci saga returns to cinemas with The Price of Money, in theaters on July 31. The famous comic book character played by Tomer Sisley, imagined by Jean Van Ham, will come to life on the big screen!
The story apparently follows Largo Winch, a businessman and adventurer, a mix of James Bond, Jason Bourne and Indiana Jones. After the brutal kidnapping of his son Numi, he was the subject of a ruthless plot to destroy him and the W Group.
To find out the truth and find his son, Largo begins a relentless hunt. From the forests of Canada, through Bangkok to the depths of the mines of Burma, he does not yet know that he will have to face the demons of his past. Note that James Franco slips into the costume of the big bad, Ezio, a menacing shadow emerging from Largo Vinci’s past.

Borderlands – Released on August 7th

In the works since 2015, the film adaptation of the Borderlands video game saga will hit theaters on August 7, 2024. The film stars Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jack Black, Ariana Greenblatt and Florian Munteanus.
Much appreciated by players for its fantasy world and crazy characters, the Borderlands franchise has significantly destroyed the looter-shooter genre. With 83 million copies sold, the license is one of the best sellers in the world.
In Eli Roth’s film, we follow Lilith, a bounty hunter with a troubled past. He reluctantly returns to his home planet of Pandora, the most chaotic planet in the galaxy. His mission is to find the missing daughter of Atlas, the most powerful (and most despicable) man in the world. To get there, Lilith will have to form an unexpected alliance with the happy team.
