Oscar-winning 20 Days in Mariupol gets Netflix release date

The production, which addresses the Russian invasion of Ukraine, was the winner of the Best Documentary category at this year’s Oscars.

Currently available for purchase and rental on digital platforms, 20 Days in Mariupolthe film that won the Best Documentary award at this year’s Oscars, has been given a release date on Netflix. But when will we be able to check out the new feature?

What it is 20 Days in Mariupol?

Ukrainian’s debut documentary Mstyslav Chernov, 20 Days in Mariupol portrays the twenty days that the filmmaker spent with his fellow journalists in the siege of Mariupol after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in the first months of 2022. Watch the trailer below:

When does it premiere? 20 Days in Mariupol on Netflix?

20 Days in Mariupol, which got the better of Kill a Tiger (2022), Bobi Wine: The People’s President, The 4 Daughters of Olfa (2023) and The Infinite Memory (2023) at the 2024 Oscars, coming to Netflix from next day July 21st.
