Disney’s live Cinderella movie will air tonight on W9. Directed by Kenneth Branagh, the 2015 feature film is one of the first animated classics from Disney Studios to be adapted for live action.
Starring Lily James, Cate Blanchett, Richard Madden and Helena Bonham Carter, Cinderella takes on the story of the 1950 animated film by Wilfred Jackson, Hamilton Lusky and Clyde Jerome.
Ella’s father, a merchant, remarried after the tragic death of the girl’s mother. With her father’s love, Ella welcomes her new stepmother and daughters, Anastasia and Javot, with open arms.
