Jasmin is arrested for murder
After the shooting in the forest, Fabien Chevel died of his injuries in the hospital. The investigation has started and the gendarmerie captain asks Jasmin about what happened. The young girl says she heard gunshots and then found Fabien Chevelle’s body. The latter advised him to leave the area before losing consciousness because he was in danger. However, Jasmine neglects to specify that she knew him. As soon as the questioning is over, Jasmine walks out into the fresh air. The gendarmerie captain then asks the adults to be available to continue the investigation, and the villa will benefit from increased surveillance.
Jasmine and Jimmy meet their friends outside by the pool. They are aware of the situation. Adults join them in turn and ask them to stay in the villa as much as possible. If they want to go out, they will have to stay together and have access to the phone at all times. Although the atmosphere is tense, Paul encourages them to relax and unwind.
Young people gather in the villa and try to occupy themselves as much as possible. Carla then notes that Jasmine is very calm despite what happened with Chevelle. He thinks that the young girl is not telling them everything. Faced with his insinuations, Jasmine turns away and goes out into the garden. Jimmy follows him.
He encourages his girlfriend to tell the police the truth about Chevel. But Jasmine thinks it’s too late to take him back. Seeing Cleo in the distance, Jasmine wonders what Cleo was doing in the woods when the Chevelle was shot. Jimmy thinks it’s a coincidence…
But Jasmine suspects that Cleo is connected to society. He discovers that the young girl is cooking and notices that she is also making a chamomile-ginger concoction for her migraines, just like Jasmine’s mother did. He gives her the drugs, but Cleo refuses to take them.
A little later, Suleiman finds Cleo in the clearing and notices that she has been crying. The young girl admits that she was shocked by Shovel’s death. Suleiman supports her, then takes her in his arms to comfort her. Hearing her mother’s call, Cleo suddenly pulls away from her and acts as if nothing happened.
In turn, Jasmine confides her suspicions to Jim: based on what she’s noticed about Cleo’s behavior lately, it’s entirely possible that she and her parents are part of a cult.
At the same time, Rose brings the gendarmerie captain to the country house. He goes back to see Jasmine because the police discovered she knew Chevelle after searching his phone. Jasmine justifies her lie by saying that she wasn’t ready to tell the truth because of her connection to the past. Despite this explanation, the gendarmerie captain decides to arrest him for the murder of Chevel…
