Big Brother Spoiler: Season 24 contestants are already trying to form a dream alliance, but will it survive?

Attention! The following contains spoilers for the Older brother Live broadcast of season 24 starting Thursday 7 July. Read at your own risk!

Older brother Only the season 24 has alone completed its live premiere on CBS, and some Houseguests are already trying to make history. After the unprecedented alliance of Season 23 Kitchen , some of the new Houseguests are trying to create an all-female alliance, which in recent years has eluded competitors. Could this be the season that’s about to happen, or is this just another failed alliance that won’t survive?

At the end of the first night of the game, six contestants of the Older brother House got together to try to solidify an alliance. Paramount + subscribers saw Brittany Hoopes decide to try to join Paloma Aguilar, Alyssa Snider, Ameerah Jones, Indy Santos and Jasmine Davis for a chance this season to make a women’s union a success. It is a noble undertaking, but there are already major obstacles that indicate it will not last.

More than half of the people in this alliance cannot vote for week 1

The biggest problem with this alliance is that Brittany, Alyssa and Paloma currently have a Backstage Pass and the title prevents them from being nominated for the Head of the Daniel Durston family and vote during the eviction, but apparently they can potentially go home on the night of the eviction. Fans will vote to save at least one of these three from elimination, but that alliance could dwindle quickly if the two remaining Backstage Pass holders were kicked out in week 1.

Two guests are ready to dissolve the alliance

Seems like why women’s-only wedding rings inevitably fall apart Older brother it is one or two members runs and exposes the wedding ring to the men of the house if your safety is at stake. Right now, it appears the two people most likely to do so are Paloma and Alyssa, who later privately stated that they see the deal as a “side alliance.” They are more concerned with cementing an alliance with Jasmine that also includes three boys: Joseph Abdin, Monte Taylor, and Kyle Capener. This team has yet to be officially consolidated, but with Monte and Joseph already sharing a one-on-one alliance with Terrance Higgins, it doesn’t feel like a deal they’d easily reject. If this union is legitimate, Paloma and Alyssa will immediately seem more loyal to her, which will no doubt hurt Brittany’s goals.

Two women have already been expelled from the alliance

Older brother fans may have noticed that Nicole Layog and Taylor Hale weren’t part of that first group of women, and that’s intentional. Taylor seems to have made some quick enemies (albeit for no apparent reason) and Nicole has spent a lot of time with the boys. The decision to exclude them is intentional and confusing. After all, Nicole and Taylor have voting power that would help the women around the house, so wouldn’t it make sense to include them at least for the first week?

The bottom line is that there doesn’t seem to be much hope that this particular sextet will become a big hit Older brother Season 24, but as Julie Chen Moonves always says, “Expect the unexpected.” Maybe the stars will line up and this group will beat the odds and really make a time-tested alliance work.

Older brother aired on CBS (opens in a new tab) Sundays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET and Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET. Sure, fans can check out the live streams on Paramount + and stay up to date with Houseguests 24/7.
