It looks like we’re getting new “Tron” movies! According to the Disinsider portal, after the announcement of “Tron: Ares“, new projects of the franchise could be developed, as they believe that the launch will be a success.
Even though we already have the animated series “Tron: The Resistance”, the direction of the story would not be that. In fact, they do not even think about continuing the narrative of the Disney + series.
“Disney is betting that Tron: Ares will be a huge success because they have some ideas lined up [mais] film. One person I spoke to who was on the set said this [o filme] It will be huge and will surprise the audience,” an anonymous source said.
It is worth noting that in the new film already confirmed, the actor Jared Leto, who was the Joker in “Suicide Squad”, will play Ares, the main character. Finally, it is worth mentioning that the first film in the film series is “Tron: An Electronic Odyssey”, released in 1982. More than 20 years later, in 2010, Disney released a new film, “The Legacy”. “The Resistance” appeared two years later and lasted until 2013.
