It All Begins Here: What’s in store for Wednesday 17 July 2024 Episode 970 [SPOILERS]

Cleo confesses to Shevell’s murder

After what they discover, Rose and Constance invite the entire Louvin family to the villa’s garden to have a frank discussion with them about Fabien Chevelle and society. Suleiman stands back, uncomfortable.

Jerome and Sandrine admit that they were very friendly with Cleo’s mother, Pauline. When the latter died, Fabien lost his land and joined the community. They were afraid of Cleo, decided to kidnap her and do everything to protect her. However, Rose believes that her death and avoidance of connection with others is not a suitable alternative. Cleo speaks up in defense of her adoptive parents, saying she considers herself their daughter. Once Cleo leaves, Rose keeps Jerome and Sandrine to question them about Chevelle. They say they didn’t know he was in the last days.

After this discussion, Constance is ready to give the Luvins a benefit. Paul confirms that he always saw them as a loving family. Only Rose thinks that Cleo is under the influence of her adoptive mother. But he is adamant that he did not say anything to the police. At the same time, he receives a call from the Gendarmerie, who informs that Jasmin’s detention will be released in the afternoon.

On the other hand, Cleo and her parents meet in the kitchen. Fearing the condemnation of Rose and Constance, Jerome wants to leave the place. Suleiman arrives to calm them down, promising that no one will say anything to the police. The young man is then left alone with Cleo to tell her that he regrets revealing everything to Rose and Constance. Cleo forgives him. Suleiman then warns her that Jasmine will be back soon and that it will be time to tell her the truth.

Rose takes Jasmine back to the villa, where she is greeted by Jimmy, who hugs her. Paul is also relieved to have her back. Only Carla continues to blame Jasmine for her lies. The latter explains that he is no longer a suspect in Chevel’s murder. On the other hand, he heard that the gendarmerie had found a shell that they were analyzing. Carla then suggests that Paul, who is the only one with a collection of firearms here, will soon be arrested.

After meeting up with friends around the swimming pool, Jasmine secludes herself in the garden to record a video message for Nael. Cleo comes to join him and reveals the truth. Jasmine is very excited to find her best friend who she thought was dead. Cleo admits that she recognized him as soon as he arrived at the villa.

Meanwhile, Paul bursts into his office with Rose in tow. He looks through his trunk, which contains an undamaged gun, and realizes that one is missing. Since he always keeps the key to the safe on him or in his room, he suspects that the Louvins took it.

So Paul and Rose return to the terrace to confront Jerome and Sandrine about the gun theft and the murder of Fabien Chevelle. The latter categorically denies this. Cleo steps in to explain that she’s in charge. When he saw the Chevelle driving around, he made sure to return it to give it back to the community. So he wanted to intimidate him into leaving, but he lost everything and shot him. He is the one who killed Chevel…

Hortense and Mehdi reveal the truth to those around them

From the day before, Hortense and Mehdi continued to send congratulatory messages for the upcoming baby. The couple decides to write a group message to explain that this whole pregnancy is fake. They are interrupted by Leonard, who arrives to tell them that their client has extended the engagement buffet tasting until later that evening. However, he claims that Hortense and Mehdi have nothing to do but come at 4pm to check that everything is ready. Once Leonard leaves, Hortense and Mehdi decide to tell the truth after the tasting.

Around 4 pm, they go to the kitchen as agreed. Actually, Leonard tricked them: not a tasting, but a surprise baby shower! Malik, Maya, Joachim and Olivia are all there to give them gifts. Hortense and Mehdi then tell them the truth and say they are relieved that they didn’t become parents. Hortense also realized that she might never want children. So it doesn’t stop a small group from celebrating.

Zoe finds out about Lionel’s manipulations

Zoe and Gary go to the amphitheater together for summer camp. When Gary starts talking about Thelma, Zoe asks him if he’s going to try anything. The young man admits that he wants it, but does not want to rush.

During the course, where the participants work on cooking techniques, Zoe observes Gary and Thelma together. Thus, she overhears her best friend inviting her partner for a drink at a coffee shop and a walk on the beach that evening. Thelma accepts his invitation.

At the end of the day, Zoe cleans the work surface while Solal tries to extract information about Gary and Thelma from her. Zoe tells him they have a date tonight. Solal then sympathizes with Zoe, who replies that she sees through everything and that Lionel warned her about her feelings for Gary. Thus, Solal lets it be known that Lionel deliberately paired Gary and Thel in hopes of not interfering with Zoë’s Institute exams.

Zoe then invites Lionel to a coffee shop for a drink. She thanks him for being a big brother to her, then invites Gary and Thelma to join them at the table, specifying that Lionel will pay for her tour. He calls over the waiter to ask for a cocktail and tapas menu. Lionel is far from happy.
