Erick Jacquin shared a photo with his followers of when he arrived in Brazil almost 30 years ago. The “MasterChef” judge left a question for his followers.
“This photo marks my arrival in Brazil… who here can guess how old I was in this photo?”
“I was already thinking, ‘I’m going to eat petit gateau in every restaurant in Brazil,’” joked one follower.
The French chef is 59 years old and arrived in Brazil in 1995, at the age of 30, to manage the kitchen of the restaurant Le Coq Hardy, in Sao Paulo, where he remained for 4 years.
For 5 years, Jacquin was chef at Café Antique, where he established himself as one of the most renowned in the country and received the title of Chef of the Year several times.
Currently, in addition to being a judge on “MasterChef Brasil” for 10 years, he owns five restaurants in São Paulo: Président, Lvtetia, Bar Secreto do Vaticano, Ça-Va, Ça-Va Café and Steak Bife.
