Talking Heads’ concert film Stop Making Sense gets new poster

Directed by Jonathan Demme, from The Silence of the Lambs (1991), the production will be re-released in theaters to celebrate the work’s 40th anniversary

What it is Stop Making Sense?

Stop Making Sensewhich has already been considered by critics as the greatest concert film of all time, features footage of three nights of performances by the band, responsible for hits such as “Psycho Killer”, “Take Me to the River” It is “Once in a Lifetime”at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood in December 1983.

In 2021, the documentary was added to the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress in recognition of its cultural and historical significance. Watch a clip released by A24, which shows an excerpt from the restored version of Stop Making Sense:

When does it premiere? Stop Making Sense in Brazil?

Stop Making Sense is scheduled to hit Brazilian cinemas on August 29thmore than a year after its release in the United States, and will even be shown in IMAX theaters, with better image and sound quality.
