The Duffer Brothers expressed their excitement at working with Boston. “When we first read Haley’s script, we were blown away. She’s a new voice in horror, and her writing is twisted, terrifying, yet hilarious. We feel so lucky to be producing her first series and can’t wait to share her vision of the world,” the brothers said in a statement released by Netflix.
