“When she arrived, Mistral residents and viewers knew her as Jennifer, so we’ll continue to call her Jennifer. is his pseudonym. This is his new name, his new life, his new identity. We’re going to call her Jennifer because that’s what she wants and that’s how she’s known in Marseille.”

It must be said that it would certainly be difficult for viewers to come to terms with the idea that Jennifer is now called Amber. So it makes perfect sense that the writers chose to keep his assumed name.
