Warming up for its long-awaited debut, Deadpool & Wolverine has just won its latest trailer. The preview revealed the participation of X-23, codename for Laura Kinney — Wolverine’s “clone” daughter — and Lady Deadpool, the female version of the titular antihero.
What You Need to Know About Deadpool and Wolverine:
For those who don’t remember, X-23 was revealed in Logan (2017): she was created by Craig Kyle for the animated TV series X-Men: Evolution. As the trailer indicates, the character, played again by Dafne Keen, returns in the new film.
In addition to these new additions, Lady Deadpool will also make a special appearance. Known as Wanda Wilson, she is a version of the hero who lives on Earth-3010. The character’s history is told in the comics.
According to the synopsis, Deadpool 3 will place the Marvel character in the TVA multiverse, introduced in the Loki series. He must have the mission to “fix” the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) together with Wolverine who, as everyone knows, is not a “good” guy, like the talkative and dissolute Wade Wilson (Deadpool).
