In August 2021, almost nine months after the launch of the daily newspaper, Everything Begins Here, Jasmin Kasmi made a very visible entrance into the Auguste Armani Institute. Extroverted, colorful and sunny, this very ambitious young woman quickly stood out and became one of the brightest students in her class.
Although she excels at cooking, sometimes her secrets make her doubt herself. This was, for example, the case when she tried to hide her relationship with Nael (the child she had with Greg DeLobel, played by Mikael Mittelstadt), as well as in the current summer arc, where her sectarian excesses set her back. He tried desperately to forget the past.
Jasmin Kasmi faces her sectarian past
Indeed, since June, Jasmine has been at the center of an enchanting intrigue. While she was on vacation at Paul Garnier’s (Avi Marciano) villa, in the company of Rose (Vanessa Demoy), Constance (Sabine Perrault), Berenice (Bérénice Tannenberg), Carla (Ariccia Lemer), Penelope (Laurence Facelin). Souleymane (Dembo Camillo) and her boyfriend Jim (Loan Becmont) realized that she was the target of a stalker.
A mysterious person who calls himself “Yves62” on social media suddenly started monitoring her every move, following her “even in real life”. He especially followed her while jogging in the middle of the forest and settled in a hotel a few kilometers from the villa.
As a result, Jasmine decides to investigate him and discovers the unthinkable: this person is connected to the sect her parents belong to. Indeed, when he was a child, he grew up in a cult with his family and his best friend, Louise Shevell. But this little girl mysteriously disappeared at the age of seven while swimming in a river.
That’s how Jasmine discovered in the last episodes of Successful Daily that her stalker was actually Fabien Chevel, Louise’s father. But against all odds, this man was found murdered and Jasmin was arrested by the police.
That’s not all, it turns out that Cleo, the daughter of Paul Garnier’s stewards, is none other than Louise Chevel, her childhood best friend, but the daughter of Fabien Chevel. So much for Jasmine, who was far from imagining how much this summer vacation would turn her life around.
