The suspect told police that he would take the cargo to the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre
A drug dealer was arrested, in the early hours of this Sunday (21), with a load of cocaine and crack that was found in the trunk of a Gran Cherokee, on the BR-287 in Santiago, in the central region of RS. The action took place during a joint operation between the Federal Highway Police (PRF), the Civil Police (PC) and the Military Brigade (BM).
According to PRF, there was only one occupant in the car, a 21-year-old man from São Borja. During a thorough check of the car, they found that there were approximately 80 kg of cocaine and 50 kg of crack on board. The driver told police that he was going to take the load from São Borja to the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre.
The drug dealer was arrested on the spot and taken to the Civil Police, along with the drug load and the vehicle.
