Five cousins from the same family held a ceremony with nearly 1,000 guests
Driver Emerson Antonio Fracasse is 50 years old and has been chauffeuring brides to their weddings for more than 30 years. And in more than three decades of making dreams come true for so many couples, this was the first time he had the chance to transport five brides. The quintuple wedding that garnered attention on social media took place last weekend Nuporangainterior of San Paolo. Five cousins of the same family decided to celebrate their unions together.
The city, which has 7,391 inhabitants according to the 2022 census, was the location of the party that received almost a thousand guests, five fiancés and a small army of 112 groomsmen and bridesmaids. The task of guiding the brides to make their dream come true was entrusted to Emerson, who lives in Sertãozinho, near the city where the wedding took place.
“It was a thrill, and even though they seemed calm, I noticed that when we got to the church, everyone’s appearance changed. They became more nervous and anxious,” Emerson recalls. “And this emotion took over everyone.”
Even though it was a limo, Emerson says it took a special logistics scheme to get all the brides to the ceremony. “When I gave the budget and one of the brides said there were five of them, I had to think about what that would look like,” she says. In the end, it all worked out.
Even though the car can fit 10 people, Emerson thought it would be better to split the women into two trips, after all there is the dress, which takes up a certain amount of space and there is always that person who goes to hold the dress by the bride’s hand to ease the nerves, right? So it went like this: first he took three that were in a hotel, then he went to a beauty salon to get the other two.
“It was a magical moment for my company,” celebrates the driver, who has accumulated stories to tell over the years of driving people to their weddings. “If I stop to talk, we’ll never finish today,” he jokes.
After the ceremony, the driver also accompanied the couples to the space where the party was held, a room large enough to accommodate almost a thousand guests of the five couples. “Imagine the magnitude of the madness, it was a unique experience,” he says. “In addition, they were surrounded by competent professionals on all sides and this emotion overwhelmed all the teams,” he concludes.
