The Red Devils want to trade players to generate revenue and secure new reinforcements

After announcing the purchases of defender Leny Yoro, formerly of Lille, and striker Joshua Zirkzee, formerly of Bologna, Manchester United are now focusing on selling players who do not have the confidence of coach Erik ten Hag. According to the British press, Antony, Jadon Sancho, Eriksen, McTominay, Maguire, Lindelöf and Wan-Bissaka make up the list of players on the market.

Of these names, Jadon Sancho is the one that can generate the most revenue, as PSG are interested in the 24-year-old English striker. After a good second half of the season at Dortmund, where he reached the Champions League final, the big European clubs have once again paid attention to the striker. Although he returned to Manchester United this season and made peace with Erik Ten Hag, the club’s board does not rule out his departure.

Antony, 24, is in the sights of Sao Paulo and is having trouble at Old Trafford. The striker was signed in 2022 for 95 million euros, but has not established himself and has still had problems off the pitch. This is why the management is evaluating a possible loan. However, his agent, Junior Pedroso, has already stated that the player wants to stay at the club in 2024/25.

Defenders Maguire and Lindelöf and midfielder Eriksen are also not part of Erik Ten Hag’s plans, as he is trying to strengthen the squad by selling these players.

Scott McTominay, a 27-year-old Scottish midfielder, has been linked with Fulham, but Manchester United are only willing to negotiate for a fee in excess of €30 million. In addition, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, a 26-year-old English full-back, is a target for West Ham.

Manchester United are also looking for replacements

To replace Wan-Bissaka, Manchester United are considering 23-year-old Dutchman Jeremie Frimpong, who has had an excellent season with current German champions Bayer Leverkusen, scoring 14 goals and providing 10 assists in 47 games.
