It’s a pretty logical casting choice, as Hasselhoff bears a striking resemblance to the first version of the SHIELD leader from the 1963 comics, and even gives a deliciously charming performance with his cigar, eyepatch and sarcastic quip. Unfortunately, the film is not among the best… by a long shot.

Back in the 1990s, Nick Fury: Agent of the Shield was supposed to be a prelude to something bigger that never saw the light of day. Big Budget and David S.
