During the bank holiday weekend, the Matrix The actor was traveling from London to New York when a 14-year-old fan spotted him and decided he had to approach him after the flight to meet him. The meeting led to another viral moment for Reeves when the actor kindly took the time to answer her questions and sign her autograph. The child at the center of it all has now shared the experience from his point of view.
Alex Katsanos was the teenager who shared the same flight as Keanu Reeves and went viral on July 4th. He is a self-proclaimed fan of the Matrix trilogy, but when he spotted Reeves, he wasn’t entirely sure it was him at first. The young man explained the situation by saying:
When the plane first boarded I was pretty sure I saw it, but it got on the plane so fast I wasn’t sure. All through the flight from London, I said to myself: ‘What if it’s him? What should I say? What should I get him to sign?
when we speak with Eastern time , the 14-year-old said he took to the internet to find out if the star had been to London this week and eventually found out he had been spotted at the Grand Prix. He made it “safer” that he could actually be in the presence of Keanu Reeves. Alex Katsanos tore off a piece of a paper bag for the actor to sign and got up to approach him. Here’s how their conversation went, in his words:
It really was a natural conversation. He was very nice and we had a great conversation for about 10 minutes while we waited for our bags. I still can’t believe I not only saw him, but also talked to him and got him signed. It’s a once in a lifetime thing and it was great.
