Tessa Thompson will be on Netflix for her next series, we’re told The Hollywood Reporter. The Thor: Love And Thunder star will star in the His and Hers miniseries, which is described as a psychological thriller and based on a novel he and me By Alice Finn, a British writer. The six-episode series marks Tessa Thompson’s return to the small screen after the end of Westworld in 2022, the series in which she played the main antagonist.

Tessa Thompson will play Anna, a woman who, according to the show’s tagline, “Lives in terrible loneliness, separates from friends and career as a journalist“But when she learns of a murder in Dahlonega, the quiet town where she grew up, Anna comes back to life. She takes on the case and searches for answers.
Detective Jack Harper strangely suspects her involvement and pursues her as part of his own investigation. There are two sides to every story: hence the title His & Hers, which means someone is always lying.

William Oldroyd (Lady Macbeth), Bill Dubuc (Ozark) and Dee Johnson (Fellow Travelers) are writing the series – which will move the novel’s British setting to Atlanta. William Oldroyd also directed the first episode and Dee Johnson served as showrunner.
Published at the height of the pandemic in May (UK) and July (US) 2020 he and me by Alice Feeney Soon after, Freckle Films, Jessica Chastain’s production company, Campo and Fifth Season signed up for a series adaptation.
