After a decade of waiting, Channing Tatum finally makes his debut as Gambit
Channing Tatum shared on his social networks a thank you to Ryan Reynolds for his role in Deadpool & Wolverine.The actor is one of the special appearances in the new Marvel Studios film.
After years of obstacles, including the merger of Disney with the Foxthe actor finally lived the character Gambitof the X-Menin theaters. Tatum, who developed a project for a solo film of Gambit for four years with the producer Reid Carolin, saw the project postponed indefinitely after the studios merged. However, Ryan Reynoldsactor and producer of Deadpool & Wolverinefought to include Channing in the new film.
Channing Tatum shared a thank you on his social media, with photos alongside Reynolds:
These photos are separated by almost exactly ten years. [Em 2014] I sat in the audience and watched the first few minutes of the first Deadpool movie, and then I ran backstage and hugged Ryan and said, ‘You did it, man! It’s perfect! ‘ I barely knew him at the time, but I can say since then that no one in this industry has supported me more than he has.”
