In the first five episodes released online by Netflix on August 15, Emily, played by Lily Collins, goes through a romantic breakup (Alfie) before falling (again) into the arms of the man she’s been dating. : Gabriel.
These building neighbors have been at each other’s throats for 4 seasons now, and if we thought finally seeing them as a couple was going to do something for us (you know, those little pits in our stomachs), it finally does. Because really between the French chef and the British financier with a bright smile, everyone made their choice.
You only have to look at the X to know it’s Team Alfie winning hands downβ¦
I can’t believe Emily chose Gabriel over Alfie in season 4 #Emily in Paris! π± Aside from a few interesting marketing ideas, this season has been pretty messed up so far… anyway

Emily/Gabrielle went in such circles, I wasn’t happy for a second about the formation of a couple. Alfie in my heart β€οΈβπ©Ή #Emily in Paris

Season 4 is not adequate
Unlike previous seasons, Netflix chose to cut this one in two and offer the final five episodes on September 12. Which definitely didn’t sit well with subscribers, who find it hard to get enough of five short episodes of 30 minutes each. But what they criticize the American giant the most has to do with a practical aspect: subtitles and translation errors.

Several X users have reported this problem on the social network: some parts of the series are not translated and subtitled at all. It’s like the first part came to life quickly… It’s a shame when we’re talking about a series set in Paris and that the writers are forcing the French actors to speak Shakespeare to each other because it’s an American production…
Now we can only hope for one thing: that Netflix will raise the bar in the second part, where our beloved American will fly to Italy.
