Neither Rocky nor Rambo: Rated 4.1 out of 5, this is Stallone’s best movie!

Fifty years of career under the clock, but Sylvester Stallone remains a legend in Hollywood. The American actor is now headlining his own series Tulsa King, a mafia dive into the depths of the United States from the creator of Yellowstone. But, of course, it was in the cinema that the legend of Sly was born.

Several actors played any of their characters in Legend. Stallone achieved this twice: first with Rocky, the boxer who despite himself became the embodiment of the American dream, then with Rambo, the Vietnam veteran who became the face of an America haunted by its own demons.

And Stallone’s best movie is…

When it comes to choosing the best Sylvester Stallone feature film, most of his fans usually name one of these two films. But surprisingly, AlloCiné is not the favorite movie of internet users either. With an average rating of 4.1 out of 5, Stallone’s best film is none other than the first part of the Creed trilogy!

It’s a surprising choice, since in this Ryan Coogler feature film, designed as a spin-off of the Rocky saga, the Italian stallion played by Sylvester Stallone plays only a supporting role. The latter’s performance nevertheless made a strong impact and earned him an Oscar nomination.

In this new opus, Rocky Balboa agrees to train Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan), the son of his old friend Apollo. At the same time, the Italian horseman will have to fight a new battle, not in the ring anymore, but against the background of the illness that is gnawing at him.

Another film is almost related to Creed

It should be noted that the first part of Rocky’s Adventures is also rated 4.1 out of 5, but according to our algorithm it is downgraded to second place due to the lower number of reviews from Internet users (696, compared to 869 reviews published on the page dedicated to Creed).

Also, Guardians of the Galaxy 3 has an average rating of 4.2 out of 5, but Sylvester Stallone only appears in a winking scene (so it’s impossible to put this movie on the same level as Creed or The Rock in his filmography).

You can watch Creed: The Legacy of Rocky Balboa with Sylvester Stallone on Prime Video.
