Netflix: Bridgerton Star in One Piece Season 2 Cast

Beautiful people in the cast of One Piece! The live-action TV series adapted from Eiichiro Oda’s popular manga will soon return to Netflix as Season 2 is currently filming in South Africa.

The first season of the show produced by Netflix made it possible for the main characters of the program, namely the emblematic monkey D. Introducing Luffy (Inaki Godoi).

Jamie Lee Curtis was unable to appear in the series

Three days ago, the author of the manga personally spoke about the new characters planned for the new season. Over the course of three days, Netflix revealed which characters will be appearing in season two and their respective performers.

As such, Platform has learned that Dr. Kureha will not be played by Jamie Lee Curtis (due to a conflict of agendas, not the actor’s refusal), but by Kate Segal. The choice was approved by the vast majority of fans, as the Sons of Anarchy actor seems to be a perfect fit for the personality of this character, which is very popular among fans.

New artists will be announced soon!

Mark Harelik will also play the role of the very popular Dr. Hyriluk (an actor, of course, little known to the general public, but appeared in a number of successful TV series). The last character to form this trio is, of course, Tony Tony Chopper; But the interpreter (vocalist?) of the latter has not yet been revealed.

While it was also announced that King of Alabasta will be played by Sendhil Ramamurthy (Heroes) as Nefertari Cobra, we also learned that the iconic Nefertari Vivi, better known as Vivi, will be played by Bridgerton actress Charitra Chandran. However, we do not know if the latter will appear in the series with blue hair, in line with the animated version of the character.

This first list of names will be followed by other announcements planned for Netflix’s Geeked Week starting September 16. Fans are hoping to discover the names of Chopper, Crocodile, Ace or even Nico Robin, but the first images of the second season will also be revealed!

Season 1 of the live-action series One Piece is now available exclusively on Netflix.
