Professional tennis player Chris Wilton takes a job teaching tennis and quickly hits it off with one of his students, the young and wealthy Tom Hewett. Chris benefits enormously professionally and financially from his association with the glamorous Hewett family.
But despite the growing certainty that Chris and Chloe will marry, he becomes increasingly intrigued and enamored of Tom’s fiancée, Nola Rice, a struggling American actress. Their passionate courtship puts Chris at risk of losing his wealth and position. The only solution to this dilemma seems unthinkable.
