Fifty-six percent of U.S. Fortune 500 companies cited AI as a “risk factor” in their most recent earnings reports. The top risk cited? “Increased competition.”

E. If it is already difficult to compete in the market today, my friend, imagine now that a competitor can go ahead and use AI in a way that is unexpected, disruptive and even surprising for your customer.

Does this mean these companies aren’t using AI? Nope: 99% of Fortune 500 companies are already using AI. The question isn’t IF to use it, but HOW to use it.

Which industries are most concerned about “AI-powered” competitors? Over 90% of large entertainment and media companies, 86% of technology and software companies, 70% in telecommunications, and over 50% of companies in retail, healthcare, financial services, aerospace… what’s happening.

And these are the largest companies in the United States. Imagine the change in the middle market and in the business world.

The survey was conducted by Arize AI, an AI platform that tracks public filings released by companies in the United States. Recalling that Fortune 500 ranks the largest North American companies based on total annual revenue. The list includes 500 public and private companies, as long as their revenue is publicly available.

The study also served as the basis for a report by the Financial Times, which cites, among others, Netflix, Motorola Solutions, Salesforce, Pfizer, The Walt Disney Company…

What about your company? Are you already investing in AI or are you waiting for the market to catch you by surprise? Want to know how a large company can use AI to beat the competition?
