On Tuesday, July 12, it all starts here…
Even though she knows her brother has gone too far, Charlene begs Louis to stop provoking her. Unfortunately, it is not going to crash and says that it is ready to do everything to destroy the competitor. Believing that he deserves the spot more than her, Charlene orders him to prove it without any dirty tricks.
Meanwhile, Theo still doesn’t understand what drove him to attack Louis this way. He was so angry that if his sister had not intervened, he could have killed her. From now on, Theo has every intention of channeling his emotions to give his all in the kitchen. Celia, on the other hand, isn’t sure it’s worth it. The institution has become so toxic that he says it would be wiser to go to Paris now. Only Theo refuses to let Louis regain his position and win the Vattel Prize instead. However, he promises Celia that they will go to Paris once the prize is in his pocket.
For their part, Clotilda, Teissier and Constance aim to discuss Theo. Chef Armand wants to make sure he doesn’t follow Celia to Paris because the Vattel Prize is associated with the name of the chef who wins it. Therefore, the Institute cannot let Theo slip through his fingers. While Constance points out that they can’t force Theo to stay, Emanuel meanwhile worries that his son will be seen as an arrogant leader after leaving as soon as he receives the award. That’s why he commits to Clotilde to find a way to keep Theo in the institute.
A short time later, Teissier finds his son in the studio, who makes him believe that he is staying at the institute. Far from being fooled, Emanuel asks him to sign a contract committing him to remain in his position at Double-A for at least one year. The contract also stipulates that Theo will become the reference chef for all Auguste Armani restaurants worldwide if he wins the Vatel prize. Faced with such an attractive offer, Theo did not hesitate to sign it.
At the same time, Louis took Emmanuel into the kitchen to get his opinion on the dish and thus find out if he has the level to win the Vattel prize. Unfortunately, Teissier isn’t about to try his recipe and tells him that he made Theo a contract that binds him to Double A. When he learns that his rival is going to run Auguste Armand’s restaurants, Louis points out that this is who should have the post. After telling her that she has nothing to do unless she inherits her father’s name or talents, Emmanuel calls her out of the bunch.
Filled with pride, Louis goes to the salt marshes and throws everything at Celia. If he doesn’t want to lose Theo, he’ll have to arrange for Vatel to give up the prize.
At the Beaumont Hotel, Greg and Elliot are preparing to go to the beach when Noemi joins them with Marius. A young man whose son Delobal has known well since childhood. In turn, Chef Matret met Marius in Singapore and offered to be his clerk for the championship. While Greg is happy to see his childhood friend again, Marius seems more reserved, saying that they haven’t been friends for a long time.
Greg, Elliot and Anais then go to the beach. As they try to figure out what happened to Marius, Greg explains that they remained friends until he dropped out in third grade. Greg reacted very badly. It must be said that it was during this period that he began to realize that he was gay and was not ready to accept it at all. So she rejected Marius for fear that others would find out that she also liked boys. Even though she knows she’s changed since then, it doesn’t erase what he did to her. Anais and Elliot therefore urge him to apologize to her to ease the tension for the championship.
When Marius and Greg find themselves in the kitchen, the atmosphere is especially electric. After refusing to do so, Noemi would give them a few minutes to explain themselves. Greg then takes this opportunity to apologize for hurting her in the past and tell her that he is gay. Unfortunately, Marius doesn’t care that Greg is out.
At the end of the day, Anais meets Marius on the beach. The latter shows up with some confidence and makes her realize that Greg is the first boy she ever loved.
Tony stops Guillaume and Letizia with a bottle of wine to thank them for last week’s aperitif. Remembering that today is her birthday, Kelly’s mom thinks it would be nice to have dinner at Double A’s. When he asks Guillaume if the institute could offer him food, Guillaume replies that it is impossible.
However, a frustrated Laetitia refuses to give up. So she meets Lysandro to make it up. The head of the room then agrees that his colleague will pay his bill in installments on the condition that he pays in full within two weeks.
Later, Tony and Leticia have dinner at Double A’s. Seeing his companion, Guillaume asks if he needs a credit card to pay the bill. Uncomfortable, she replies that it won’t be necessary because she has an agreement with Lysandro. Guillaume, who is jealous, clearly misunderstands Tony, and bends over backwards.
At worst, Guillaume confides in Kelly, who confirms that his mother wouldn’t do anything stupid because she cares about him so much. And to find out that he had never seen her so happy since she was in his life.
