Netflix has announced that the actor will join Cillian Murphy and Rebecca Ferguson in the new series, which does not yet have a release date.
Netflix announced, this Thursday (29), that the actor Barry Keoghanof Eternals (2021) and Saltburn (2023), will be in the film Peaky Blinderswhich will continue the story presented in the series shown between 2013 and 2022.
The actor joins Cillian Murphywho will live again Tommy Shelbyprotagonist of the story, and Rebecca Fergusonof Dune (2021) and Dune: Part 2 (2024), which has already been confirmed in the cast. Check out the announcement:

What we know about the movie Peaky Blinders?
According to the Variety, Murphy will also act as producer of the film Peaky Blinderswhile Tom Harperwho has directed episodes of the series and recently directed Agent Stone (2023), also from Netflix, will lead the production:
“It seems that Tommy Shelby not finished with me… It is very gratifying to collaborate again with Steven Knight [criador da série] and Tom Harper in the film version of Peaky Blinders. This one’s for the fans”the actor declared in a press release.
Harper also spoke about the news: “When I drove Peaky Blinders for the first time, over 10 years ago, we didn’t know what the series would become, but we knew there was something about the alchemy of the casting and the writing that felt explosive”he said.
“Peaky has always been a story about family – and so it’s incredibly moving to reunite with Steve and Cillian to bring the film to audiences around the world on Netflix”completed the filmmaker.

According to the series’ official synopsis, Peaky Blindersfollows the daily lives of a notorious gang in 1919 England, who rise through the criminal underworld led by the ruthless Tommy Shelbya criminal willing to rise in life at any cost.
