‘It didn’t really work’: Even this major Game of Thrones figure admits the ending wasn’t perfect

From 2011 to 2019, during 8 exciting seasons, the TV series “Game of Thrones” (adapted from the works of George RR Martin) thrilled millions of viewers around the world. If this long adventure was trying for the fans (who had to endure many cliffhangers throughout the episodes), the epic was not easy for its main actors either.

Indeed, while his character’s spin-off series was recently canceled, British actor Kit Harington, who portrayed the brave Jon Snow from the beginning to the end of Game of Thrones, recently spoke about the show’s final season.

“We couldn’t go on any longer.”

A rather hasty conclusion that left a slightly bitter taste in the mouths of many fans, and which the actor explains at that moment by calling out the fatigue of the entire team:

“I think if there’s one flaw in the end of Game of Thrones, it’s that we were all so tired we couldn’t go on.”– he explained on the microphone GQ UKBefore I recognized that this situation could cause errors.

“So I understand that some people thought it was rushed, and I might agree with them. But I’m not sure there was an alternative. I look back at pictures of myself this last season and I look exhausted. I look completely. Faded.”

Kit Harington continues by clarifying that he respects the opinions of fans and admits that the conclusion of the popular HBO series was not flawless:

“Everybody’s entitled to their opinion. I think there were some mistakes made, story-wise, maybe towards the end. I think there were some interesting choices that didn’t really work out.”
