Dark Catherine
Early in the morning, Ekaterina swallows anxiolytics with a glass of alcohol.
Moments later, Lauryn discovers a packet of medicine and warns him of the risks he is taking. While Catherine claims she’s only doing it to relax a little, Lauryn believes she’s letting herself sink in. All Catherine has to do is forget that her husband is buried six feet under and that her children have abandoned her. When Lorin mentions that he is doing something stupid, Catherine loses her temper and then asks him to leave her alone, specifying that she has no responsibility to him.
At the hospital, Allen gets some good news. Indeed, he will finally be able to return home to Elizabeth’s great happiness. When Dr. Cresson advises him to stay away from oleanders, the businessman is very silent.
While leaving her husband’s room, Elizabeth ran into Flores. After telling him the good news, Elizabeth explains to him that she didn’t tell Allen about her suspicions about Lorraine. Elizabeth finds it hard to believe that this diagnosis fell from the sky and is even convinced that it was Catherine who poisoned her husband. So he wonders if Lauryn helped her mother or saved Allen after she found out what Catherine did. In both cases, the young woman is an accomplice.
Unexpectedly, Elizabeth joins Lorin in the hospital corridors, where she accuses him of covering for Catherine. After challenging him, Lauryn reminds him that her mother lost her husband before asking him to leave her alone. However, Elizabeth is not fooled and realizes that she will not let him go.
At L. Cosmétiques, Bilal learned that Allen’s heart problems were caused by oleander poisoning. As he had analyzed for Boris a few days earlier, the young man found this a strange coincidence. Unwilling to get involved in the shady story, Bilal confronts Boris, who insists that the old cat’s death is never anyone’s concern, before ordering him back to work.
At the same time, Elizabeth goes to the police station to file a complaint against X for attempted murder. On the spot, he expresses his suspicions to Commissioner Becker about Catherine and Lorin. Even if he takes this matter very seriously, Clement still has to explore all avenues, even accidental poisoning.
At the end of the day, Manu and Alex watch videos of Allen and Elizabeth’s wedding. Unfortunately, there is currently no evidence that Catherine poisoned Dr. Alphandi. So Commissioner Becker instructs them to continue watching the videos and let him know if they find anything.
When night falls, Catherine drowns her sorrows in alcohol…
Evan cheats on Chloe
In the morning, Chloe catches her husband smiling and looking at his phone. When she tries to figure out what makes her react like this, the doctor makes her think she’s just consulting news sites. Although surprised, Chloe then suggests they go on a romantic weekend to find themselves a little. He also thought about Seven’s residence, where they used to go in the past. If Evan balks at the idea, he still promises his wife that he’ll see if he can take a few days off.
Later, Janet informs Evan about the patients at the hospital. However, their discussion is again interrupted by Dr. Cresson’s phone call. Evan then apologizes to Janet and points out that she must answer. He smiled at the contents of the messages.
At nightfall, Evan calls Chloe to let her know he’ll have to stay at the hospital tonight. However, the doctor lied and left the institution with a smile…
