The loss left Racing Louisville out of the playoff qualification zone of the championship. The team is in ninth place, with 19 points.

On the other hand, the Houston Dash, the team composed of Brazilians Andressa Alves and Tarciane, had no chance against the Utah Royals. The two Brazilians took the field during the 90 minutes of the match, but saw the team dominated by the guests. The first goal came in the 44th minute of the first phase, with Ana Tejada. Then, Claudia Zornoza scored from the penalty spot in the 10th minute of the second half and captain Paige Monaghan doubled the lead in the 15th minute. With the setback, the Houston Dash are in 14th and last place in the NWSL, with 14 points. So far, there are only three wins and five draws in the 18 games played by the team.
