Cannes Winner “Eight Mountains” Goes to Side Show, Janus Films

Sideshow and Janus Films Acquired the North American Rights eight mountains Cannes Jury Prize Winner.

The film stars Luca Marinelli and Alessandro Borgh as unlikely friends whose lives are inextricably linked to the alpine town of Aosta, where they met as children in this adaptation of Paolo Cognetti’s novel. Sideshow and Janus Films are planning a theatrical release later this year.

The film’s cast includes Filippo Timi, Elena Lietti and Elisabetta Mazzullo. The acquisition agreement was negotiated by CAA Media Finance and Vision Distribution on behalf of the directors.
