Singer denied that “secret project”, announced in early August, will be a biographical film and gave new details about the production
Despite what had been previously reported, the life of Britney Spears will not hit theaters. In early August, the Variety revealed that Universal Pictures had acquired the rights to adapt the Princess of Pop’s autobiography, The Woman in Mereleased last October, and would take it to the big screen with the direction of Jon M. Chufrom the still unpublished Wicked.

However, in a new post on her social media, the singer gave new details about what she has been calling a “secret project”: “The project I might do is not a biopic… It’s a fictional musical in which I play an extremely intelligent character. It’s very flattering to be in such good company as Jon Chu.”he clarified.
