Trailer for Aliens: The Series Finally Revealed and You’ll Scream!

The Alien franchise still has a bright future. While Fede Alvarez’s Alien: Romulus (Evil Dead, Don’t Breathe) is a box office hit and has grossed more than $280 million so far, fans will soon find the creatures elsewhere on the small screen.

Indeed, xenomorphs will take television by storm in a series led by Noah Hawley, who we already owe the fictional Fargo to. Officially announced four years ago, this Alien series has finally been revealed with the first teaser and above all the official synopsis.

On earth you will hear a scream

The series called Alien: Earth is a prequel that takes place before the events of the famous film franchise initiated by Ridley Scott. As the title suggests, this fiction will be set on Earth and will focus on the first alien to land on our planet.

If the teaser doesn’t really reveal images from the series, it’s still promising, as it gives us the first glimpse of the xenomorph with a terrifying cry, and we hope there will be many leaps in this fiction directed by Sydney Chandler (Pistol, Don’t Worry Darling), Alex Lowther (The End of The F***ing World), Essie Davis (Mr. Babadook, One Day) and Timothy Olyphant, among others.

Expected to hit Hulu in 2025, Alien: Earth has revealed the official synopsis: “When a mysterious spaceship crashes on Earth, a young woman and a group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that brings them face to face with the greatest threat on the planet.”.

Note that Noah Hawley indicated that Alien: Earth would not take into account the events of Ridley Scott’s recent Alien films, namely Prometheus and Covenant. The series does not yet have an official broadcaster in France, but it should probably be Disney+.

The series “Alien: Earth” will be broadcast in 2025.
