Bruce Springsteen is so pleased with his new biopic, Springsteen: Save Me From the Unknownwhich is already planning a sequel. The revelation was made by the film’s director, Scott Cooperduring an interview with Variety at AFI Fest. According to Cooper, “The Boss” is interested in exploring other chapters of his vast career in cinema.
“I suppose if you can make four films from Beatlesyou can make two films bruce Springsteen“he said Cooperreferring to upcoming projects Sam Mendes. The director stated that the musician’s reaction to the film was extremely positive: “I think he really loves this movie. He loved the experience. […] There are so many chapters in the life of bruce…that deserve a cinematic treatment. I think he’s ready for more.”
Springsteen: Save Me From the Unknownwhich opens in theaters on October 30 with Jeremy Allen White (The Bear)in the lead role, dramatizes a dark period for the artist: recording the album “Nebraska” (1982), while he struggled with depression and memories of a traumatic childhood.
The protagonist, Jeremy Allen Whitealso described the strong impression of working with the star. In an interview with NMEhe recalled the first time he sang “Nebraska” in the set: “I knew that bruce it was there… but I didn’t want to see it. […] He found me later, looked me in the eyes, gave me a hug and held me. This gave me enormous confidence to finish the film.”

Amid protests against the president donald trumpthe musician praised the alliance “No Kings” and spoke about the state of the country: “Outside, chaos ensues in the United States. For 250 years…the United States has stood as a beacon of freedom, democracy, hope and independence.”
“Despite the terrible harm America has suffered recently, this country and these ideals are worth fighting for.”concluded Springsteen. “I will send this message as a prayer for America, for our unity and for No Kings.”
