Un Si Grand Soleil preview: Thursday, September 5, 2024 episode recap [SPOILERS]

The investigation into Evan’s disappearance is moving forward

Evan, held by a serial killer, is awakened by loud noises and music. After discovering the speakers hidden behind the metal grill, the doctor tries to cut them out, but to no avail. At his wits end, Evan starts screaming and kicking all over the place.

Chloe and Robin, on the other hand, slept very little. It must be said that they are worried to death. When he offers to stay with her on the day off, Robin refuses because she has to join Tiago.

At the same time, Chloe gets a call from Janet, who comes to check on her. The clerk does not hide from him how serious the situation is. Since she has no information about her husband’s disappearance, Janet assures her that the police are doing everything they can to find him.

Investigators at the police station eventually removed the faders from Evan’s phone. According to the report, the doctor’s phone was last dialed at 9:16 p.m. at the location where his car was found, which means his cell phone was intentionally switched off. From the scientist’s side, the fingerprints found on Evan’s car, unfortunately, did not yield anything. Hence, they have the only advantage in dating app. The problem is that they are still waiting for technicians to give them access to the accounts of the previous two victims. With human lives at stake, Ian will have to pressure the computer scientists.

Meanwhile, Robin has lost all hope of ever seeing her father alive again. Tiago tries to calm him down. in vain

Not far from there, Cecil calls Judge Laplace to find out a little more about the investigation into Evan’s disappearance. Unfortunately, the latter cannot say anything in order to keep the investigation secret.

At the police station, PTS managed to unlock the Affinita accounts of the first two victims. However, they cannot access the messages they exchanged with the person who trapped them because they were ephemeral. The good news is that they found three profiles of the same women in the victim’s history: Celine, Lilu and Clarisse. And one of them is involved in the disappearance of Evan Cresson and the murders of Legui and Erant.

Ekaterine goes to rehabilitation

In the morning, Lorin finds her mother unconscious on the couch. As usual, Catherine swallowed the anxiolytics along with a large amount of alcohol. Worried, Lorin calls Boris and then tells him about her worries. Fearing an overdose, the young woman begged him to help get her mother to the hospital.

At the police station, Commissioner Becker and his teams analyze the investigation. Despite their research, Alex and Manu find nothing that could implicate Catherine.

A few hours later, Allen tells Elizabeth that the complaint against Catherine is closed. Because the Laumiere family is always good, Elizabeth hopes that Catherine will protect her. To change the subject, she then informs her husband that she invited Flore and Tiago to dinner. While the Doctor says he’s glad things are going well between them, Elizabeth replies that Flor has been very relevant lately and that she’s been very touched.

Meanwhile, Lorin and Boris try to reason with their mother. Faced with the gravity of the situation, Lamierre’s children inform him that they have found a place at a super clinic that will be able to provide him with the care he needs for his addiction. However, Catherine imagines that her children want to intern her. Boris then assures her that it isn’t, before specifying that it’s just a holiday home. Although Catherine initially refuses to go, she eventually changes her mind when Lorin and Boris tell her how much they love and care for her. So Catherine packs her suitcase while her children follow her to the holiday home.

Back at home, Boris convinces Lorin that they did the right thing in treating Catherine. However, the young woman is suspicious and fears that her mother will refuse the clinic’s protocol. On the contrary, Boris says that he is sure that everything will be fine. When Lauryn thanks her brother for his help, the latter tells her that they will be together now, no matter what.

In the evening, Elisabeth and Allen take Flor and Tiago to dinner. The atmosphere is one of laughter and good humor. During the meal, Flor offers the newlyweds a sculpture as a wedding present. To everyone’s surprise, Elizabeth thinks it’s brilliant and tearfully tells him that it means a lot to her. A reaction that in turn moves the flora.

Afterwards, Flores and Elizabeth take a moment alone to discuss Catherine. Convinced that his ex-friend will one day start harassing them again, the businessman promises his daughter-in-law that he will lead and guard the perimeter. Indeed, Elizabeth wants to neutralize Catherine once and for all. Without hesitation, Flor replies that she can count on him.
