One day after he announced his resignation from SBT, Marcelo Torres has been announced as a new hire for CNBC Brazila news channel that debuts in November on Brazilian TV.
On Instagram, the company’s profile posted a video with several professional backgrounds of the journalist to tell the news.
“With a successful career at the helm of SBT Brasil, the station’s main daily newspaper, and also as an international correspondent, he accepted my invitation to join Brazil’s new news station”caption.
Former SBT contractor Marcello Torres celebrates new phase
In the comments to the post, the communicator showed enthusiasm for the news and wrote: “I am very proud to be part of this team that already has so many good people!”
Fans later celebrated the news and left messages of affection for the journalist.
“Great turnout! Marcelo Torres is a beast. Congratulations”, one person said. “Great news! Success and joy always”, declared another. “What wonderful news! Fly, as always! Shine like never before!”he wished for one more.
This Monday (02), Marcelo used his Instagram profile to announce that he was leaving SBT after 19 years of collaboration.
Torres now joins names like Christiane Pelajo and Fábio Turci, who have also signed with the new broadcaster.
