This Tuesday (9/10) will see the second full round of the third stage of the Asian qualifiers. There will be nine matches, with special attention to two matches in Group C, Death: Indonesia x Australia and Bahrain x Japan.

The third phase guarantees 6 places

This is the phase that will start this Thursday. There are 18 teams divided into three groups. The competitors play in their groups in turns. The best two of each group will qualify directly to the World Cup.

Repechage 1 guarantees 2 places

However, a repechage is planned with the third and fourth ranked teams of each group. The six teams will be divided into two groups of three. The two winners of the group will qualify directly for the World Cup.

Repechage 2

The runners-up from repechage 1 play a knockout game and whoever wins this duel goes to the global repechage, in the fight for the last two places in the World Cup.
