The rapper faced Matheus and Leidy and received only 17.46% of the public vote
Rapper Ramalho was eliminated this week from Globo’s reality show “Estrela da Casa.” He only had 17.46% of the public’s votes to stay on the program, despite Thália’s emotional speech on Sunday (9/10), which reinforced the racial aspect of the fight for recognition, naming the ally in the spotlight.
Elimination that could have been avoided
Ramalho ended up in Batalha after tying in the House vote with funk singer MC Mayarah. Winner of the Dono do Palco test, Thália had to break the bond between two housemates and playmates, and ended up putting the rapper in the spotlight. Out of curiosity, Ramalho did not need to check the public’s approval so early. On Sunday, he was the last to vote and, if he had nominated Mayarah, she would have automatically entered the battle. However, he decided to remain faithful to his principles and not throw his ally into the risk zone, falling into the robbery himself.
Matheus led the public vote
His opponents in Batalha were direct rivals, pop singer Matheus Torres and gospel singer Leidy Murilho. The two obtained 47.86% and 34.68% of the public vote, respectively, demonstrating that the public’s sympathy tends towards the members of the blue room. During the confinement, however, Ramalho’s allies in the orange room, such as Nick Cruz and Marayah herself, were betting on the elimination of Matheus, precisely the one who had the most votes to stay.
Change of plan
Normally held on Tuesdays, the elimination was brought forward this week to Monday night due to the Brazilian football team’s match, which will significantly delay the broadcast of the program on Tuesday (9/10).
